Scour Protection
Our patented scour protection system utilises insitu
filled fabric bags to place concrete, to form scour
protection. Utilising biodegradable or non-degradable
impermeable fabrics, they allow the creation of
discrete blocks that are interlinked using
steelwork.
Various forms can be manufactured to suit most instances
where a hard, durable form of scour protection is needed. It is particularly
suited to forming scour protection to structures, to
create flexible, articulating mattresses, or new

The system
can also be utilised in certain situations, for the creation of river
bank scour protection, where the system has the ability to incorporate
pre-grown vegetation. Greater care needs to be taken when used for river bank

We manufacture a range of biodegradable or non-biodegradable
fabric bags, in a wide range of sizes, that enable concrete or grout to be
placed, within rivers. Our pump-filled insitu bags allow
large voids to be effectively filled, expanding to the irregular shape of the
undermining for example. They can also be daisy chained, using interconnecting
steelwork, and be manufactured in sizes to suit.
Alternatively, we also
manufacture smaller bags, again using biodegradable or polyester
fabrics, that can be placed by hand. Our sister company, SoluForm, also offer a range of
cost effective bags for the hand placement of concrete in rivers.
